Bennie Travis Rikard, Jr., 75, of Ninety Six, husband of Carol Cantrell Rikard, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at his home.

Born in Hollywood, SC, he was a son of the late Bennie T. Rikard, Sr. and Mary Lillian Kirkland Rikard. He retired from Milliken after over thirty years of service. Bennie was also a US Army veteran. He had a passion for gardening and was known for his "green body". Bennie was a true country man, who always spoke his mind and cared for his family first.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Beth Cornay (Mike), Suzanne Driver, William"Moe" McQuerns (Shirley), and Denise Rikard Fallaw; sisters, Sylvia Rikard, Vickie Sweat (Martin), Jennifer Rikard, and Gloria J. Bright; brothers, Charles Rikard (Valerie), Claude Rikard, Michael Rikard, and Wayne L. Rikard; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Wayne Bright; a sister-in-law, Susan Rikard; and fur babies, Bitsy and Mont.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
