Bernice Ruth Lloyd Davis, 84, of 1117 Evans Pond Road, Greenwood, widow of Louis Davis, died Sunday, February 12, 2017.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Georgia Clay Lloyd. Bernice retired from Monsanto and was a member of Jordan Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Kashnier (John) of Hodges, Teresa Dillashaw and Debbie Lomax (Ray) both of Greenwood; a sister, Betty Beacham of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Dawn Chrisley, Dana Jennings, both of Greenwood and Gary Franks (Karen) of Kinards; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Bowers and Rev. Rick Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jenny Delgado, Latonya Burton, Chaplain Rick Hendricks and Jane Hunter of Hospice Care of South Carolina for the love, kindness and compassion shown to their mother and family.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Debbie Lomax, 317 Hitching Post Road, Greenwood.
