Betty C. Wise Buff, 91, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023.

Born in Saluda, she was the daughter of the late Homer Clyde Wise and Lucille Smith Wise. Betty worked with Greenwood Mills and was also a patient sitter. She loved animals and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Betty was twice married first to the late Eugene Canfield and second to the late Lucious Buff. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Wise Canfield and a brother, Clyde Smith Wise.

Surviving are her children, Deborah Manning (Frankie), Vickey Turner (Wayne), Butch Canfield (Yvonne), Shari Hopkins (Fred) and Cindy Canfield; grandchildren: Nikki Canfield Wooten (Logan), Jeffrey Crisp (April), Adam Crisp, Matthew Wash, Hunter Eugene Canfield, Krissie Canfield, Lisa Julian, Ronda Brown (Milton), John Hopkins and Tara Hopkins Brown; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren,

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Gerald Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
