Betty Ruth Davis Haston, 85, formerly of Ninety Six, widow of Gerald Haston, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Self Regional Health Care.

Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Wilton Davis and Margaret Rogers Davis Teague. She retired from Geo. W. Park Seed Company and attended the Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church.

She was twice married, first to the late Alvie Harold Alford and was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Surviving are three sons, Donnie Alford (Pamela) and Roger Alford, both of Ninety Six and Ronnie Alford (Glenda) of Gaffney; a step daughter, Janice Haston of Chappells; two sisters, Gail Carithers of Spartanburg and Joanne Carithers of Greenwood; and a number of
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Louie Murray officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Alford, Joey Alford, Brad Alford, Austin Kunkle, Justin Kunkle, Ty Chrisley, Rick Cribb, and Mark Livingston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. on Friday.
