Betty Jo Moon, 80, loving wife of William "Bill" Moon, of Greenwood, SC went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018.

She was born in Greenwood, SC, to the late Roy and Grace Canfield. Betty was a graduate of Abbeville High School and a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Roy Canfield, Jr. and Gene Canfield; sisters, Beatrice Gallam Clark and Peggy New; and step-father, Stephen Morris.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bill Moon; her daughters, Tina Corcoran (Tim) and Mitzi Compton (Reid); siblings, Bob Canfield (Shelby) and Brenda Barnes; granddaughters, Trisha Moon (Chad Cogdill), Ashlee Redfern (Chris), and Kayla Huskey (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Destin Moon, Alyssa Moon, Lily Redfern, Isabel Redfern, and Piper Cole; and a special friend of the family, Paul Graddick.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alvin Hodges officiating. Entombment will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Destin Moon, Paul Graddick, Bobby Burdette, Mike White, Wayne White, and James Outzs.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Hospice House for the care and compassion they have shown the family during this time and making a difficult journey a little easier.
