Betty Dobbins Porter, 82, of 229 Deadfall Road West, widow of Charles Edward Porter, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Audy and Lenora Pearson Dobbins. She was formerly employed by Union Carbide, Eastwell Sportswear and retired from Geo. W. Park Seed Co. Betty was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving is her daughter, Toni Porter Collins of Greenwood; a half sister, Emma Jean Reynolds of Gaffney and grandsons, Jason Porter Long of Greenwood and Edward Brant Long of Miami, FL.
