Betty Jean Noffz Powers, 94, widow of James "Jim" Richard Powers, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mattie Cornelia Edwards Noffz. Betty retired from Ascend and loved vegetable and flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Noffz and Carroll Noffz; and sister-in-law Carol Noffz.
Surviving are her son, Jimmy Powers (Michelle); grandson, Kevin Powers (Avari); a great grandchild; and sister-in-law, Dianne Noffz.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Thursday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.
