Elizabeth Ann �Betty� Robinson, 98, formerly of 400 Herndon Drive, Ninety Six, widow of Nollie Robinson, Jr., died Friday, June 27, 2014 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home, Aiken. Born in Milwaukee, WI, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Mary Teasdale Luedtke. She was a retired librarian with the Greenwood County Library and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Robinson was a long time resident of Greenwood Shores, where she was looked upon as the �unofficial mayor� and was a friend to all of the resident pets, who knew they could get a special treat during her walks or if they visited her home. Surviving is her son, Nollie Robinson, III, of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Janet Robinson Deason and her husband, Marcus, of Ninety Six and Brooks Robinson of Simpsonville; three great grandchildren, Shannon China and her husband, Arthur, Amanda Stroup and her husband, Michael, and Travis Deason and five great great grandchildren, Wesley and Michael Stroup, Jailen, Jocelyn and Alanna China, all of Aiken. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Greenwood, PO Box 49776, Greenwood, SC 29649 or to St. Paul United Methodist Church (designated to the trustees for future building projects), PO Box 66, Ninety Six, SC 29666. The family is at the home of Janet and Marc Deason, 400 Herndon Drive, Ninety Six in Greenwood Shores.
