Betty Daniels Roche, 80, of 220 Heritage West Ct, widow of Dr. William G. Roche died Friday, June 17, 2011 at her home. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Bennie Branham Daniels and Allie Thomas Daniels. Mrs. Roche was a loving wife and homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Tommie D. Ladd and a brother, Lovick T. Daniels. Surviving are two sons, William G. Roche, Jr. (Janet) of Columbia and Robert Daniels Roche (Stephanie) of Ninety Six; two sisters, Dorothy Sewell of Ninety Six and Louise D. Stewart of Salley, SC; a brother, Bennie Daniels. Jr. of Jackson, MS , and five grandchildren, Robert Daniels Roche Jr., Gatlin Geddings Roche, Austin Lynnlee Roche, Brandon Lee Cassidy and Maegen Denise Cassidy. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Mrs. Helen Montjoy for all of her kindness and unending support towards our mother during her recovery. Pallbearers will be John Roche, Danny Pollatty, Dr. Sam Burnett, Dr. O. T. Willard, Timmy Knowlton, Winston Sewell, Greg McGovern and Grayson Jeffries.
