Betty Harrison Skidmore, 93, of Ninety Six, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late James and Bertha Harrison. Betty retired from Schlumberger where she was a lead lady. She cherished reading, working on word searches and was known for her exceptional cooking skills. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and sharing precious moments with them. Betty was member of Cambridge United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Skidmore; and sisters Mary Bryant and Carolyn Clary.
Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl McFarland; grandchildren, Greg McFarland (Dee Dee), Angie Creswell (JW); and great grandchildren, Madison McFarland, Winston Creswell and Harrison Creswell.

Services will be held at 1pm on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hank Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gene Williams, Steve Burnett, Mickey Goodman, Chris Rearden, John Clary and Evan Fallaw.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12-1pm.
