Betty Henderson Stewart, 94, formerly of 112 Church Avenue, Greenwood, widow of Blake Stewart, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Henderson and Mary Goings Henderson. She retired from Nantex and was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed staying home, dancing, listening to music and spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by sisters: Frances Carpenter and Mary Tiller and brothers, Walter, Claude, Thomas, Robert, Freddie, Charles, Clarence "Mulie", Olin and Jack Henderson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Smith (Randy) of Hodges and Kim Goodman (Danny) of Greenwood; grandson, Blake Goodman; great grandson, Elias Goodman; sisters-in-law, Lou Henderson and Lona Henderson; and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm Friday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
