Betty Lou Hall Williamson, 88, of 1652 Relax Street, widow of Hubert C. Williamson, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at her home. Born in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Dupree Hall and Lucille Cosby Hall. Betty was a homemaker and loved to fish for brim in Lake Greenwood. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by three children, Tina Williamson, Gloria Meekins and Donald Williamson. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Williamson (Drew Shirley) of Waterloo; a son, Larry Williamson (Elizabeth) of Whitter, NC; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
