Beverly Van Zant Hufstetler, 76, formerly of 306 Grove Street Apt 1L, Greenwood, died on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Petra Health and Rehab, McCormick. Born in Fernandina Beach, FL, she was a daughter of the late Paul Broward Van Zant and Lelia Smith Christenson. Beverly earned her Bachelor�s Degree in Graphic Design at Daytona Beach Community College. She was a bookkeeper, legal secretary, artist and a teacher. Beverly was of the Christian faith. Surviving are her children, Jennie (George) Miller of Greenwood, Debra Geer, Sandra Geer and Geoffrey (Wanda) Geer, all of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Joanne Matson of Saint Augustine, FL; three brothers, John Christenson of Carrollton, GA, Roy Van Zant and Phillip Van Zant, both of Wray, GA; and eight grandchildren, Lauren (Drew) Ficklin, Andrew Miller, both of Greenwood, Sean (Sarah) Hadley, Blane Jureczki, Anthony Day, Daniel Day, Jared Geer and Amanda Haskett, all of FL.
