Beverly Ann Bohland Singleton, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 13, at HospiceCare of the Piedmont after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 9, 1928 in Hart, Michigan to the late Philip and Lulu Bohland. Over her lifetime, Beverly enjoyed the company of a number of rescue dogs, as well as knitting, gardening, and going out on Friday nights with her wonderful friends Evelyn Irwin, Betty Abrams, and Helen Crawford. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband George Singleton, Jr. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers Elwin, Willard, and Dale Bohland, and sisters, Lucille Ross and Phyllis Schmidt. She is survived by her son George (Glenda) Singleton of Spartanburg and her brother Alan (Cheryl) of Norton Shores, Michigan, plus many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
