William "Bill" Ennis Cameron, 64, of Hodges, widower of the love of his life, Mariam Inman Cameron, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his home.
Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, he was a son of the late Charles Donald Cameron, Sr., Helen "Cissy" Goode Cameron and Mary Alice "Floss" Johnson Cameron. Bill grew up in Myrtle Beach, where he developed a deep love for the ocean and outdoor activities. During his youth, he spent countless hours surfing the waves and fishing in the saltwater. In the summer, he embraced the joys of life in Garden City and then returned to the bustling city of Myrtle Beach for the winters. Bill found solace and happiness in the waters, which reflected in his contagious smile and unwavering positivity. After serving in the US Army Reserves and completing his bachelor's degree from Clemson University, he pursued a successful career in the hospitality industry as a manager with Marriott. Bill's deep faith in God guided him throughout his life. His unwavering devotion was an inspiration to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles "Charlie" Donald Cameron, Jr. and John Norton McMillian.
Surviving are his sons, William Hunter Cameron (Abigail "Abby" Elaine) and Christopher "Chopper" Frenceschini (Lisa); sisters, Candice "Candy" Cameron Bailey (Jimmy), Virginia "Jennie" Guy Cameron, Skipper "Skippy" Cameron Rice (Frank) and Alice "Taffy" Johnson Cameron; and a grandson, Everett Laith Cameron.
Services will be held 1pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery, Myrtle Beach.
