William W. Gibson, 72, of 102 Surfside Circle, Ninety Six, husband of Alicia Kozachok Gibson, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his home.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he was a son of the late William L. and Viola Tumidiski Gibson. He was retired from the Department of Marine Resources in Maine and served as a volunteer fireman for 50 years with the Shrewsbury Hose Company No. 1 in New Jersey.

Surviving is his wife of the home; his children, Lisa Neis (Ronald) of Tinton Falls, NJ and Peter Gibson (Lisa) of Shrewsbury, NJ; grandchildren, Zachary Neis (fiancée, Hope Cahill) and Mackenzie Neis, both of Tinton Falls, Andrew Gibson and Michael Gibson, both of Shrewsbury.

He was preceded in death by a son, William W. Gibson, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Shrewsbury Fire House, 783 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ.
