William Edwin �Bill� Manley, Jr., 64, of 121 Clifton Street, husband of Patsy Hozey Manley, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was wearing a helmet. Born in New Orleans, LA, he was a son of the late William E. Manley, Sr. and Johnnie Clardy Manley. He was a disabled US Army Vietnam veteran, combat related, Agent Orange, serving with the 11th Armored Calvary under General George Patton, III, from 1968-1969. He retired from Greenwood Mills. Bill was a member of Harris Baptist Church and the King�s Men Sunday School Class. He was also a member of Bikers for Christ Motorcycle Club, the Greenwood Motorcycle Club and was a lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group. Surviving is his wife of the home; a son, Bronco William Manley of Greenville; a daughter, Christine M. Manley; sisters, Martha M. Long and her husband, Charles, and Janet M. Proctor and her husband, Joe, all of Greenwood; brothers, Michael W. Manley of Bradley and Cliff Manley of Greenville; brothers-in-law, Franky Hozey and his wife, Nita, of Abbeville, Bill Hozey and his wife, Terri, and Bobby Hozey, all of Greenwood; numerous nieces and nephews.
