Rev. Billy Joe Reynolds, 74, of 102 Windfield Court, husband of Annie Kate Rushton Reynolds, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Dennis Otto Reynolds and Stacia Robinson Reynolds. Billy served in the U. S Navy and graduated from Southeastern Baptist Seminary. He was a minister for 45 years having served at many churches with his last church being First Damascus Baptist Church. Billy was a member of the Southern Baptist Association and was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of the home; a son, Robert Reynolds of Greenwood; two sisters, Jackie Chesser and her husband, Dan, of Georgetown, TX and Faye Seitz and her husband Kirk, of Houston, TX; and a brother, Warren E. Reynolds and his wife, Sue, of Greenwood. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Building Fund, 2107 Mount Moriah Road, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home.
