Billy Joe Morris, 53, of 508 Bond Street, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Blue Island, IL., he was a son of JoAnn Terry Morris and the late Bill Thomas Morris. He was employed by Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Surviving in addition to his mother of the home are his children, Rian Morris, Daniel Morris, both of Cross Hill, and Kindra Morris of Greenville; brothers, Tony Morris (Kayce) of Ninety Six, and Marco Morris (Amanda) of Greenwood; four nephews; two nieces; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jeffery "Jeff" Allen Morris.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Byron Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
