Eugene �Billy� William Scarboro, Jr., 57, of 104 Cothran Street, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at his home. Born in Ayer, MA, he was a son of Mary Rhodes Scarboro and the late Eugene William Scarboro, Sr. Billy worked for Greenwood Mills-Durst and Mathews Plants where he was the plant supervisor. He wrote training manuals and was implemental in starting Medical Textiles. Billy was a member of First Damascus Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Ninety Six. He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Elizabeth Scarboro. Surviving in addition to his mother of Greenwood are his children, Jennifer Goodman of Ninety Six, Timothy Scarboro and wife Marissa, of Ware Shoals, Crystal Ginn and husband Jamie, of Simpsonville and Kayla Scarboro and Fianc�, Jonathon Davis of Greenwood; a son-in-law, Scott Goodman of Ninety Six; a brother, Kenneth Scarboro of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Jade, Julie, David and Jenna Goodman, Jacob, Emma Grace and Jaxon Scarboro, Brooke, Ryan and Claire Ginn. �Poohpa� found his greatest joy in his faith and his love for his children and grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Curtis Hilley, Matthew Hilley, Jamie Ginn, Jonathon Davis, Kevin Whatley, Scott Goodman, Tony Scarboro, Dick Copeland and Curtis Hallman.
