Billy Herbert Smith, 53, of 7011 Highway 25 North, Hodges, husband of Crystal Marie Boggs Smith, passed Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Chester, he was the son of Nancy Ann Marler Cutrer and the late Billy Hamilton Smith. Billy enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and visiting the beach. He especially loved his dogs, Spud, Diesel, and Roxy.

Surviving is his loving wife, Crystal of the home; children, Daniel Louis Smith (Chelsea) of Greenwood and SarahAnn Elizabeth Smith (Jerome Bailey) of Pelzer; mother, Nancy Ann Marler Cutrer; sisters, Patricia Dotson (Kevin) and Debra Aldrich (Geoff), all of Fountain Inn; six nieces; three nephews; along with multiple extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Nix officiating. The service will be live streamed and available to view by visiting Billy's life tribute page at www.harelyfuneralhome.com , where you can leave messages for the family.

The family will receive friends before the service from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family ask that face coverings be worn.
