Billy S. Stewart, 74, of 212 Woodland Drive, Brookside, husband of Betty Lou Cogdill Stewart died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late W. Gamble and Sara Fuller Stewart. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was of the Church of God faith. Surviving is his wife of the home; four daughters, Sandra Hjalmer and her husband, David, of Greenwood, Sherrie Erskine and her husband, Wayne, of Hodges, Debra Thompson and her husband, Bubba, of Aynor and Tina Stewart of the home; a sister, Lean Cogdill of Greenwood; a brother, Robert Stewart of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and his dog, Lady. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Willie Stewart.
