Blanche Amanda Salter, of 2455 Salter Road, Chappells, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home, Newberry. Born in Chappells, she was a daughter of the late James Cornelius and Locar Geneva Salter. She was a seamstress and a member of Soule Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include a special brother, Raymond Salter and nephew, Ronnie Salter (Tammy Collins), both of the home and other nieces and nephews, James Arthur �Jim� (Donna) Salter of Chappells, Jeanette (Forest) Kibler of Gulf Shores, AL and Marian (Baron) Rice of Travelers Rest. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Salter and brothers, Wilbur Salter and Travis Salter.
