Bobby Lee Bob' Cooper, 76, of 626 Fairway Lakes Road, husband of Annie Josephine Cooper, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Calhoun Falls and raised in Greenwood, he was the son of the late James and Ruth Hagood Cooper. He was a 1955 graduate of Greenwood High School and, following four years in the Air Force, returned to school where he received a Bachelor�s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and later added two Master�s degrees from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Bob served 30 years with the United States General Accounting Office before retiring in 1992, when he and his wife returned to Greenwood. He taught accounting for ten years at Piedmont Technical College. Bob accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of twelve. He was a Gideon and was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church and in the Trinity Sunday School Class. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Michael Cooper. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home; is a son, Keith Cooper and his wife, Nan, of Roswell, GA; a daughter, Debra Sipsy of Cumming, GA; their mother, Shirley Cooper of Cumming, GA; a stepson, Danny Hall and his wife, Patty, of Sugar Hill, GA and a stepdaughter, Shirley Harvey and her husband, Doug, of Grass Valley, CA. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, Katie and Laurie Cooper, Cody, Matthew, Joshua Sipsy, Jennifer and Carly Hall, Jessica and Justin Barrett. He is also survived by two sisters, Alice Arnold and her husband, Wayne, of Kennesaw, GA and Marie Ellis and her husband, Roy, of Augusta, GA along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gus Burgdorf, Ronald Massey, Benny Roberts, O�Neal Yeargin, Wayne Rogers and Jyll Maddox.
