Robert Madison Franks, 76, of 104 Kentucky Court, husband of Ann Glenn Franks, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at his home. Born in Kite, GA, he was a son of the late William Pink and Tempie Ruth Powell Franks. He was a retired salesman from Ballentine Motors and was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church and the Samaritan Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife of the home; daughters, Leeann Wells and Jimmie Brown, both of Ninety Six; a sister, Ruth Smith and her husband, Curtis, of Greenwood; four grandsons; four granddaughters and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Franks; a daughter, Kimberly Gonce and a brother, Wendell Franks.
