Obituary
Bobbie Simpson Proctor, 86, of Greenwood, widow of Charles Allen "Biddy" Proctor, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in McCormick, she was a daughter of the late Monroe and Anna Goff Simpson. Bobbie retired from Capsugel and she enjoyed shopping, going to Tuesday singing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Mt Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Charles "Steve" Proctor (Angie) of Greenwood and Kathy Hastings (Frankie) of Hodges; sister, Doris Smith of Abbeville; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Arthur Gamble officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 772 Old Ninety Six Highway, Greenwood, SC 29646 or to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
Family members are at their respective homes.
