Bobby Dean Anders, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 79.
Born in Easley, he was the son of the late Robert B. Anders and Sara Katherine Stewart Anders. Bobby was a U S Army veteran and was a highly respected skilled finish carpenter in the Greater Greenwood area, known for his meticulous work and dedication to his craft. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the outdoors. He was a devoted family man, cherishing his wife, children, and grandchildren immensely. His kind and generous spirit made him an amazing friend to many. Bobby was always busy with a project, whether it was fixing something around the house or helping a friend in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Holcombe Anders, son-in-law, Eric Petrus and brothers, Sonny Anders and Ronnie Anders.
Surviving are his children Christopher Anders and Cheyanne Petrus (Ricky Landrith); his sister Diane Springs (Marion); brothers-in-law, C. Doug Holcombe (Darlene) and Steve Holcombe (Ann); grandchildren, Kerrington Anders (Liz), Lauryn Phillips (Drew), Chase Anders, and Harper Glenn Landrith; the mothers of his grandsons' Jennifer Mitchell and Gisela Perez; numerous nieces and nephews; and special care givers through Caris Hospice.
Services will be held 2pm on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris Anders, Chase Anders, Ricky Landrith, Mike Henderson and Kevin Brock.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1-2pm.
