Robert G. �Hunter� Arnett, 59, of 23 Higgins Drive, Ware Shoals, husband of Rebecca Elledge Lothridge Arnett, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Robert and Sudie Mae Ashmore Arnett. He was employed as a paper carrier for The Index-Journal and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his wife of the home; his parents of Greenwood; a sister, Betty Lou Arnett Smith and her husband, Danny, of Greenwood; grandchildren, Lacey J. Smith of the home and Tre Lothridge of Atlanta, GA and great grandchildren, J. Hanna-Lee Carroll and Ronald M. Carroll, III, both of the home, Bella Lothridge and T. J. Lothridge, both of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Ann Arnett and Brenda Joyce Arnett Lynch and a brother, Curtis Luther Arnett.
