Bobby Franklin Gonce, 79, of 108 Sherard Avenue, Ninety Six, husband of Rachel Carroll Gonce, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Union, he was a son of the late Lonnie T. Gonce, Sr. and Evelyn Shetley Gonce. Bobby was retired from Rainbow Signs and was a member of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Mens Fellowship. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Debbie Taylor (Paul) of Iva; four sons, Tony Gonce of Ninety Six, Mike Gonce of the home, Barry Gonce (Sherry) and Phil Gonce (Tracy), both of Ninety Six; a sister, Glenda Faye Rauch (Claude) of St. Augustine, FL; two brothers, Tommy Gonce (Sherin) and Lonnie T. Gonce, Jr. (Belvia), both of Greenwood; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Naomi Scott and Edna Chastain. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary escort will be members of the Men's Fellowship of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family is at the home of Phil and Tracy Gonce, 419 S. Cambridge Street, Ninety Six.
