Obituary
Bobby Lewis, 67, of 1211 Rocky Creek Road, Troy, husband of Glenda Watkins Lewis, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Jim and Dorothy Yates Lewis. Bobby was a self-employed lawnmower mechanic.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two children, Jessie Lewis (Lacosha) and Dupree Lewis (Mary Ann), all of Troy; many siblings: Jenny, Carrie, Wilson Ray, William, Junior, Ola May, Ester, Mable, Vernon, White and Pauline; grandchildren, Tela Chapman, Donna Turner, Tamaya, Teinya, Tanola, Sallie, Joshua, Thurmond, Lizzie, Lilly, and Tama Lewis; and two great grandchildren, Desmond Beach and Hayleigh LeCroy.
The body is at the at the home of Dupree Lewis, 1169 Rocky Creek Road, Troy, where the family will receive friends on Friday from 1 to 2:30 pm. Graveside services will follow at 3 pm in Troy Cemetery with the Rev. Robert E. Curry, Jr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be Stan Lamb, Randy Clegg, Jonathon "John John" Clegg, Harvey Talbert, Gary Poarch and Clifton White.
