Bobby Thomas Pounds, 55, of 1110 Woodlawn Road, died Monday, June 4, 2018 at his home.
Born in Dublin, GA, he was a son of Mary Jane Godfrey Brookshire and the late Grady Thomas Pounds. Bobby was a self-employed drywall subcontractor and attended Durst Avenue Church of God.
He is survived by his two children, Summer Wood (Allen) of Abbeville and T. J. Pounds (Kerry) of Greenwood; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Talmadge Brookshire, of the home; sisters, Janet Summerlin (Gene) of Georgia, Barbara Register (Kenny) and Elaine Brookshire, both of Greenwood; a brother, Tommy Pounds of Tennille, GA; grandchildren, Aubree Pounds, Carter Pounds and Gracelynn Pounds, all of Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Phyllis Obry and a brother, Russell Brookshire.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. B. Turner officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, Tommy Styron, Bryon Wells, Steve Kettner, Kenny Register, Steven Leady, Doug Navey and Allen "Woody" Wood.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
