Bobby Joe Madden, Sr., 79, of 137 Shearbrook Drive, Greenwood, husband of Betty Timmerman Madden, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home.

Born in Pickens, he was the son of the late Willie and Hazel Ford Madden. Bobby was a retired U. S. Navy veteran recruiter, a dedicated Clemson fan and a follower of Jesus Christ.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two daughters, Brenda Dorn (Julian) and Dianne Hasting (Bailey); a son, Bobby Madden Jr. (Crystal) all of Greenwood; two beloved fur babies, Suzy and Sassy; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marty Dorn officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Clark, Sgt. Joshua Clark, Trey Harrison, Bailey Harrison, Lee Hepler and Aaron Hellman.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 2 to 3 pm.
