Branch Alexander Hall, 87, of 107 Hill and Dale Drive, widower of Mary E. Price Hall, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born on May 13, 1921 in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late John Alexander and Ida Tolbert Hall. He was retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church for 57 years, where he served as treasurer of the Men�s Bible Class, president of the Sunshine Club and was a member of the Choir and the Benevolence Committee. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Mary Frances Haston and her husband, Dean, and Shirley Hall Eddy and her husband, David, all of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Tina Upton, Kevin Haston and his wife, Esther, Stacey Haston Leopard and her husband, Tim; eight great grandchildren, Courtney and Nichole Upton, Amy, Madison and Chris Haston, Tyler and Brianne Jay, and Alexandra Williams, all of Greenwood; a great-great granddaughter, Brianna Haston of Hendersonville, NC and a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Evans of Greenwood. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by three brothers, Lindsey Hall of Black Mountain, NC, Calvin Hall and Andrew Hall, of Abbeville and two sisters, Roberta Davis of Greenwood and Myrtle Reece of Augusta, GA.
