Michael Brandon Hastings, 36, of 1011 Old Edgefield Road, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Perry and Jimmie Dawn Shaw Hastings. He was a horse trainer and a Farrier. Brandon won the World Championship as a juvenile in Racking Horses in Decatur, Alabama and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his parents of Greenwood are his fianc�e Jessica Michelle Driggers; two children, Hayden Alyssa Hastings and Brandon Cole Hastings and a step son, Christopher Cain Devore, all of the home. Pallbearers will be Josh Boyd, Tyrone �Ed� Shultz, Jerome Williams, Christopher Driggers, Taylor Timms, Dillon Timms and Joshua Timms.
