Brenda Lipscomb's Obituary
Brenda Sosebee Lipscomb, 71, of 673 Pineland Shores Circle, Cross Hill, wife of Ernest "Jimmy" Lipscomb, died Sunday, November 19, 2017.
Born in Dawsonville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Lee and Eunice Bailey Sosebee. She retired as a manager with Liberty Life Insurance Company in Greenville following 25 years of service and was a member of Cedarwood Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Tammy Jones (Max) of Blythewood and Missie Townsend of Pickens; a sister, Linda Bruce of Dawsonville, GA; and grandchildren, Meredith Jones, Jordan Jones, Morgan Walthall (Travis), Kent Townsend and Merritt Townsend.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky Sosebee and Billy Sosebee.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedarwood Community Church with the Rev. Clint Carter and the Rev. Ervin Stutzman officiating.
Honorary escort will be members of the Happy Hearts Sunday School Class of Cedarwood Community Church.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Cedarwood Community Church, PO Box 49518, Greenwood, SC 29649.
