Brenda R. Starnes, 43, of 123 Kirby Drive, wife of Robert Starnes, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of James C. Balchin, Sr. and the late Judy Ann Weeks Balchin Parrot. Brenda was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her father of Ninety Six; three daughters, Brenda Lee Starnes, Elizabeth Renee Starnes and Judy Pearl Starnes, all of the home; a brother, James C. Balchin, Jr. (Karen) of Royston, GA; a sister, Nancy Skelton of Ninety Six; special friend, Robert Skelton; and a wonderful aunt to fifteen nieces and nephews. The family is at the home of her sister, Nancy Skelton, 1518 Old Edgefield Road, Ninety Six.
