Michael Dayton "Rev" Brown, 61, of 142 Blake Street, Greenwood went to be with Jesus and all his loved ones Wednesday November 15, 2017.

He was the son of Jeanette Ginn Brown and the late Charles D. Brown. He was a long time employee at Lander University as a printer. Everyone knew him as "Rev". Mike loved his job and loved his co-workers. There was a lot of special people in his life. We want to thank all of you for your love and caring you showed to him. Thanks also to the ones he grew close to at the Cancer Center, Self Regional and Hospice Care of the Piedmont. He loved and cared about so many. He had some real special friends.

Mike was raised in the Durst Avenue Church of God where he learned about Jesus and at the end of his journey he got to see His Savior Jesus Christ face to face.

He is survived by his mother of the home; a sister, Linda Calvert (Wayne); a brother, Larry Brown, all of Greenwood; one niece; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Charles D. Brown; two sisters, Shirley B. Dove Floyd and Charlene Brown; and two nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory. A private burial will follow the visitation.
