Billy Dean �Bubba� Minor, Sr., 76, of 138 Ramsey Drive, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Wiley �Fat� and Carrie Mitchell Minor. He was retired from Professional Medical Products and attended Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church, Greenwood. Surviving are his son, Billy Dean Minor, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Greenwood; his daughter, Dawn Minor of Saluda; his best friend, Kathy Fulmer, of Greenwood; a sister, Brenda Jay and her husband, Leon, of Ninety Six; a grandson, Tanner Minor of Millwood, WV; step grandchildren, Josh Owens and his wife, Jennifer, of Greenville and Kayla Owens Balderson and her husband, Porter, of Columbia; step great grandchildren, Sullivan Owens and Saylor Balderson. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lee Major, Vera Lou Branham, Elizabeth McIntosh, Dorothy Jean Loftis, Botsie Gunter and Peggy Peoples. The family is at the home of his sister, Brenda Jay, 4511 Ninety Six Highway.
