J. E. �Buck� Jones, Jr., 79, of 607 Clem Road, widower of Patricia Williams Jones, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Connersville, KY, he was a son of the late J. E. �Buck� Jones, Sr. and Lucille Hiten Jones. He was a graduate of Cynthiana High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He was an advertising representative for L. M. Berry Yellow Page Co. for many years. Buck was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Rock Presbyterian Church. Buck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was blessed with many friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. Surviving is a son, J. Rees Jones and his wife, Lea, and his daughter, Julianna Jones Smith, all of Greenwood; a sister, Patricia Williams and her husband, John, of Kentucky; and grandchildren, Anna-Blythe Jones of Charleston, Garrett Jones, Brady Jones, Griffin Smith, Peyton Smith and Trent Jones, all of Greenwood. Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Pat, and a son, John Stanley �Bubba� Jones. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W.
