Obituary

Alcus "Bud" Romane Creech, 85, of 124 McDowell Street, husband of Mary Frances McGukin Creech, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Hospice House.

Born in Holmes County, FL., he was a son of the late Jack Creech and Dora Stafford Austin. He was the owner and operator of Bud's Antiques, a US Army veteran during the Korean Conflict, and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Lynn Creech of the home, Jan Creech of Greenwood, and Keith Creech (Twila) of Waterloo; a sister Faye Bohler (Gerald) of Easley; a brother, Gene Creech (Jo) of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Chris Creech of Athens, Ga., Sarah Creech of the home; Rose Anna Welch of Greenwood, and Cody Creech of Waterloo; and great grandchildren, Dustin Hammond, Peyton Braswell, and Kerrigan Braswell, all of the home.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice House, 408 W Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
