Obituary

William "Buddy" Othello Noffz, 89, formerly of 101 Leyland Court, Greenwood, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Hospice House.

Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Ernest William Noffz and Hattie Ruth Iusti Noffz Hill. Buddy worked for 35 years with Greenwood Mills Compound and enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Noffz Willis.

Surviving are his children, Nancy Parker(Phil) of Cedar Key, FL, Jo Noffz Woodson (Lawrence) of Belton, Wayne Ernest Noffz (Linda) and David Alan Noffz, both of Greenwood; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and special friends, Paula and Jimmy Haynes and Sherry Stewart.

Services will be held at 11am on Saturday at Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.

The family will receive friends before the service at the mausoleum from 10 to 11 am.

The family is at the home of Wayne and Linda Noffz, 412 Fairforest Drive, Greenwood and David Noffz, 110 Satcher Drive, Greenwood.
