Obituary

Carol Chambers Hall, 87, of Ninety Six, widow of Roosevelt "Jug" Hall, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at her home.

Born on August 24, 1937, in Newry, SC, she was a daughter of the late Loman M. Chambers and Winnie Hollingsworth Chambers. Carol devoted over thirty-seven years to the healthcare field as a nursing assistant in Labor and Delivery at Self Regional Medical Center. Her compassionate care and comforting presence helped countless families welcome their little ones into the world. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life like sitting on her porch, watching people go by, or riding her golf cart around town. Carol was known for her friendly spirit - she never met a stranger and was a friend to all who crossed her path. She had a gift for conversation, turning every encounter into a cherished moment. An avid supporter of the Clemson Tigers, Carol found joy in cheering for her team. When not watching her team play, she loved to unwind with a good western, particularly enjoying stories featuring her favorite character, Matt Dillon. Carol attended Cambridge Methodist Church, where she found joy in fellowship and community.

She is survived by her children, Danny Hall (Joy), Nancy McCarty (Tolbert), and Sherry Rowe (Gale); brother, Jimmy Chambers (Susan); grandchildren, Justin Parker (Trish) and Taylor Hall; and great grandchildren, Dylan Parker, Cody Parker, and Hunter Parker.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Berry and her beloved bird, Sweet Girl.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Cambridge Methodist Church with Rev. Hank Brooks and Rev. Marty Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Sill, Taylor Hall, Cody Parker, Hunter Parker, Dylan Parker, Robby Barber, Michael Chambers, and Shane Bradford.

Honorary escort will be Mickey and Mary Ann Goodman and members of the Ninety Six Police Department.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.

The family would like to especially thank Amedisys Home Health Care for their care of Carol.

The family members are at their respective homes.
