Carol Edward McFerrin, 80, of Greenwood, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Claude Herman McFerrin and Lillie Blake McFerrin. Carol retired from Greenwood Mills where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are three children, Rickey McFerrin, Nancy Butler and Jennifer Dill, all of Greenwood; four sisters, Frances McManus, Doris Scott, Peggy Reville and Claudia Lewis; a brother, James McFerrin; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly McFerrin King; two sisters, Betty Smith and Virginia Teasley; and three brothers, Rene, Billy and twin brother, Claude McFerrin.
