Carol Lee Fisher Tinder, 82, of Greenwood, wife of Richard Tinder, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 surrounded by her family at Hospice and Palliative of the Piedmont.

Born in Linn County, MO, she was a daughter of the late Rollie L. Fisher and Mary L. Manhart Fisher. Carol received her nursing degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her ladies group; crocheting; and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Richard of sixty three years; two sons, Doug Tinder and his wife, Annette and Steve Tinder; sister, Elizabeth Hill and her husband Ed; brothers, Rollie Fisher and his wife, Marty and John Fisher and his wife, Rita; grandchildren, Nate Tinder and his wife, Danielle, Kay Tinder and her husband, John Moran, and Harrison Tinder and his companion, Maria Denton; and one great grandchild, Juniper Tinder.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Beverly Mullinax.

A memorial service will be held from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home.
