Carold S. White, 96, of 323 Pinehurst Drive, Greenwood, husband of Shirley Bright White, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in McCormick, he was a son of the late Tillman and Everette Bush White. He was a graduate of Bulova Watchmakers School and Draughn�s Business College, where he received his degree in accounting. He retired from Volkswagen and was a US Army veteran, where he served in the 30th Infantry, Battle of the Bulge and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Carold was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Ray Jackson (Donna) of Ninety Six; two daughters, Elaine Diodate of Amherst, NY and Cindy Cali of Kennesaw, GA; two brothers, Ronnie White and Rallie White, both of McCormick; grandchildren, John Diodate (Jennifer), Joanna Diagler (Gary) all of Amherst, NY, Richie and Dean Cali, of Kennesaw, GA, Hannah, Wayne and Skyler Jackson, all of Ninety Six, Kayla Kulhanek (Daniel) of Charleston; and great grandchildren, Rocky, P. J, Maddie and Cassie Diodate, Timmy and Sammy Diagler, all of Amherst, NY. Honorary escort will be the members of the Joe Brehmer Bible Class.
