Carolyn Brenner Bobilin, 80, of 1110 Marshall Road, wife of Theodore Bobilin, died Saturday, October 01, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Nevin T. Brenner and Helen Snivley Brenner. Carolyn graduated from Linden Hall Jr. College and completed one year of studies at Western Maryland College. She was a champion for the underdog and faithfully worked many years with the handicapped, disadvantaged and abused children, special education and foster care. Carolyn was the past president of the Low Country Herb Society. She was very active in various Methodist churches and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two daughters, Linda Crow and her husband Ross of Columbia, SC and Patricia Bobilin of Suwanee, GA; a sister, Kathryn Goodrow of Pittsburgh, PA; and a brother, Nevin Brenner of Phoenix.
