Carrie Williams Morse, 94, of Starr, widow of Rev. Herbert Wesley Morse, Sr., died Friday, February 10, 2023, at her home.

Born in Edgefield, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Ethel Griffis Williams. Carrie was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, crocheting and loved talking to others.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Morse.

Surviving are her daughter, Emily Southerland (Larry) of Starr; step children, Linda Gail Turner and Herbert Wesley Morse, Jr.; a brother, Patty Williams; son-in-law, Danny "Hoss" Corder; grandchildren Kensley Chapman, Levi Plumley (Arden Owings) Jacob Southerland (Hannah), Ashley Southerland and Joe Corder; and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday at Gilgal Baptist Church with the Rev. Marty Dorn officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home from 1-2 pm.
