Cecil Wilson McDowell, 68, of 301 Highland Forest Drive, husband of Clair Winstead McDowell died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Edgefield, he was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Helen Powell McDowell. Cecil was a Greenwood High School graduate and was the owner of McDowell�s Heating and Air. He was a US Navy veteran and a Mason of Mathews Lodge. He attended Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a member of Coronaca United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Cecil Glenn McDowell of Greenwood; a daughter, Lynn McDowell Brooks of Greenwood; a stepson, Steven Tench of Buford, GA; two sisters, Sandra McAlister, of Cross Hill and Iris Blackburn of Greenwood; a brother, Gerald Reynolds of Greenwood; two grandsons and four granddaughters. Pallbearers will be Brian Crouch, Brandon Hodge, Bennie Leopard, Perry Powell, William McAlister, Mike Steeley, �Little� Paul Williams, Jr., Cory Fain, Steven Tench and Paul Williams.
