Obituary
Celia Marie Gibert Adams, 74, of Cedar Manor in Ware Shoals, widow of Jerry D. Adams, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at NHC of Clinton.
Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Celia Rebecca Hasting Gibert. She was an avid reader; enjoyed working crossword puzzles; watching the Game Show Network; and reading her bible. Celia was always up-to-date with her social media and loved to socialize with her friends at Cedar Manor in Ware Shoals, where she lived for about ten years.
She is survived by her son, Jerry C. Adams (Christy) of Ninety Six; daughter, Melissa Leckliter of Greenwood; brother, Lynn Gibert of Ninety Six; grandchildren, Hailey Bryant, Kenzie Adams, Chris Brooks (Roma), and Amber Brooks; and one great grandson, Joseph "Jo-Jo" Turner.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Leckliter and brother, Dean Pruitt.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
