Celia Irene Brooks Jones, 69, of Ninety Six, wife of Larry Porter Jones, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Joanna, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Burda Brooks and Blanche Margaret Foshee Brooks. Celia was a loving mother to her five children and a wife to the love of her life for 49 years. She was a caretaker to many more outside her immediate family. Celia was a faithful member of Siloam Baptist Church, and was a true example of a servant to God, always putting everyone before herself. You would rarely catch her without a beautiful smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister, Alice Janelle Brooks.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Barry Jones, George Jones (Amber), Kelly Jones White (Robby), Gary Jones (Tara), and David Jones (Dalin); brother, Alan Brooks (Kathy); and grandchildren, Hannah White, Garrett Jones, Kelsey White, Marlee K. Vallejo, Trace Jones, Cody Jones, Haylie Jones, Julianne K. Tran, Lily White, Wells Winchester, and Leonardo Jones.

The family will hold a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3,2024 at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Derrick Rash and Rev. Phillip Howle officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the church social hall.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family members are at their respective homes.
